Betz, Janice, Greg, Jean, Warren and I all went back to Lexington, KY to attend a Frederick Family reunion.  We left on Wednesday the 11th and came home on the 16th of June.  Janice and Jean had never met first cousins from the families of Jack and Hargus Frederick who were our father’s brothers.  I had very little contact with our father’s sister Elizabeth and her family although I met she and her husband, Albert, at a family reunion in 1966. 

We had a great time and the reunion gave us a chance to meet with relatives we had never met before.  This was the last time we would see our cousins, Joann Wright [Hargus’ daughter] and Bud Pickett [Elizabeth’s son] who have both pasted away since the reunion. 

Along with the reunion we did some sight seeing.  We all remarked how beautiful KY is but I think the humidity got to all of us.
