Betz and I attended a horsemanship clinic put on by Kerry Kuhn at Rancho Oso in the Santa Ynez Valley. Unfortunately, a couple of days before the clinic Betz had her foot stepped on by Ritzie breaking a bone in her foot.  She was unable to ride but we took Ritzie anyway so Kerry could work with him.  Although I was the most inexperienced rider attending, I believe I came away with some good information.  Kerry is a real patient teacher who has a great deal of knowledge when it comes to working with horses.
