Betz rode Ritzie in a clinic put on by Kerry Kuhn at our neighbor’s in Meadowlark Ranches.  It was a three day clinic and Kerry used JD as his horse.  I went to all three days as an observer.  Of course it rained on the first and second days so we had to move to a covered arena but all in all it was a very informative clinic.  It was the third clinic put on by Kerry that we have attended. 

Kerry stayed with us while in the Valley and we found him to be a very nice person as well as an excellent horseman.  His working with JD was extremely helpful.  On the last day of the clinic he rode JD without a halter or bridle to show that a horse can be controlled without them. It was great to watch and JD responded very well.  Kerry saw a great deal of improvement in JD over the three days and now all I have to do is get back on him. 

We are planning on having Kerry return to the Valley in October to put on another clinic.
