We attended Betz’ 45th High School reunion and had a great time.  The event was held in San Luis Obispo at the Madonna Inn.  On Friday night there was a get together at Bill’s Place [a bar] in Arroyo Grande.  When we arrived on Friday night the place was packed as it turned out there were three classes celebrating their reunions that weekend, so we moved over to Ralph & Duane’s [another bar].  It was fun watching the regulars [20 to 30 age group] come in and see all of us old folk had taken over their bar.

The dinner at Madonna Inn on Saturday was very good and Betz enjoyed visiting with her old friends from high school.  The reunion committee did another outstanding job in putting on the event.

On Sunday, there was a BBQ at a park in Arroyo Grande and we ate again.  Really a bad weekend for watching your weight.  Another nice visit and we then went home to recover from the late night activities
